This project was all about the oak. The RedHill team constructed a new detached, oak framed outbuilding to the side of the cottage, the structure included a traditional site cut oak frame at the gable end to take the exterior doors & windows and an oak cladded exterior and fascia. Internally we added additional accommodation in a double bedroom with a bathroom and office space.
We tied in and transformed the external appearance of the main property with a new driveway leading to a bespoke oak porch hand crafted on site and all new oak cladding, we also added extra batons and Celotex increase the thermal value of this cottage.
